CCIS adopts an open door policy. We believe that teachers are more successful with active, hands-on leadership from administrators. The Superintendent / Head of Departments will provide for the classes any support, direction, and guidance.

Weekly Faculty and /or Departments Meetings are scheduled to discuss the curriculum, students’ area of concern, and other issues related to education and support. All faculty members have the right to submit any items for inclusion in the faculty notice.

Head of Departments are the links between the departments and the administration. They are responsible for an incessant follow-up within all department classrooms to make sure that the curriculum and school policies are being followed, and educational programs are being properly implemented. They may help teachers with lesson planning and ideas, curriculum implementation, IEPs and reports, student issues and discipline, parent problems etc.

Different committees are organized at the beginning of the academic year in which each staff member is invited to join. The following are the committees adopted by CCIS: Curriculum, Professional Development, Special Events , Safety and Social Committees.
